Education
A wide variety of educational opportunities await both the youth and adult learner in the Town of Swan River. The public system is free and includes Kindergarten to Grade 12. Private schools are also available, in addition to adult learning and post-secondary options.

Public education is under the administration of the Swan Valley School Division. The Swan Valley Regional High School serves the Swan Valley region and provides a variety of technical courses including information technology, business & management, cosmotology, family & community services, power mechanics, electricity, food services, and environmental studies.
Post-secondary opportunities are offered by a local office under Provincial administration - University College of the North. Courses are offered via video conferencing and also as evening programs. An Academy of Learning facility has numerous classes and programs available. Using the Integrated Learning System, students learn at a pace that is comfortable for them within a schedule that suits their individual life situation.
In addition, a private Bible school www.cbfchristianschool.ca (a Jr. Kindergarten to Grade 8 school) and a college operate in the Town.
