Swan River Food Processing Centre
The Swan River Food Processing Centre is a Local, Licensed Processing Centre. Located at 119 6th Ave North within the Veterans Community Hall. Food entrepreneurs now have an opportunity to produce food products right here in our home town Swan River. New and experienced entrepreneurs can rent the Centre to make food products on a small or larger scale that can be sold into the food service or retail market.
*Food products destined for the retail or foodservice market MUST meet provincial food safety standards and be produced in an INSPECTED KITCHEN.

Food Processing Rates for Manitoba Health Permits
- per hour prep only (no production) $15 plus Gst
- 4 hrs or less $75 plus Gst
- 4 - 8 hrs $100 plus Gst
- Unlimited $135 plus Gst
Food Processing Rates for Manitoba Agriculture Permit & Federal Licensing
- per hour prep only (no production) $25 plus Gst
- 4 hr or less $175 plus Gst
- 4-8 hrs $200 $200 plus Gst
- Unlimited $225 plus Gst
