Legion Park

Nestled beside the gently flowing Swan River, the Legion Park offers a peaceful escape into nature. A scenic walking trail winds along the water’s edge, leading visitors past open spaces perfect for picnics and seasonal outdoor concerts. With its lush greenery and tranquil views, the park provides an inviting setting for recreation, relaxation, and community gatherings. 

The Legion Park is Swan River's largest park and it includes:

  • Jack Brown Field, Diamond 2 and Diamond 3 baseball fields and concession 
  • Outdoor exercise equipment is available in 3 locations around the park
  • A covered picnic shelter 
  • A covered stage including power was constructed for use during the 2012 Power Smart Manitoba Games held in the Valley and is available for use by community groups.
  • Horseshoe and Bocce ball pit available for use (contact Arena for equipment)
  • Picnic tables and memorial benches along side the path
  • NEW: Frisbee Golf course (frisbees are available for rent at the Recreation Office) 
  • NEW: a musical flowers ensemble has been installed along the west walking path creating a vibrant, accessible musical space where everyone can create and enjoy sound together. 
  • Washrooms are available for activities and events.
