Lace up your skates and join us for free Public Skating—a fun way to stay active and connect with your community! Skating boosts balance, coordination, and heart health while bringing smiles to every age. Come move, laugh, and make memories on the ice together!

Rush Hour Ice is a casual drop-in skating time when the rink is open and no other programs are running. There’s no prebooking or guarantees—skaters are welcome to hop on the ice whenever it’s available. Price:- $75.00 (Swan River Residents pay $65) Cash only. Sticks n’ Pucks is a fun, skill-building skating program where kids can practice skating, stickhandling, and shooting in a relaxed, open-ice environment. It’s the perfect way for young hockey players to gain confidence on the ice while having a great time with friends.

Our convenient drop-off skate sharpening service keeps your hockey blades game-ready with professional sharpening done quickly and precisely. We also sharpen figure skates.
- Drop off anytime
- Sharpening occurs during the day as the Rec workers are in the building
- Pickup is after 3:30pm, at the front office
- Fee: $10 / pair of skates
- On demand skate sharpening will only be prioritized if the Rec worker has availability - better to drop off the skates a few days before you need them!
