Summer Rec Event Highlights 

 
August was full of fun events for all ages! Tue to flooding in July, the start date was pushed to August, but that didn't stop us from having some super fun events! 


Some of our favourite highlights included:

🎩 Dr. Seuss Kids Party – A fun-filled morning of games, activities, stories and Seuss-inspired adventures!

🚗 Wooden Cars Painting & Racing – Participants got creative designing their own wooden cars, then put them to the test in some friendly racing competition.

🎨 Watercolour Night at Parkdale Park – A relaxing evening of creativity, where participants learned some simple watercolour techniques and enjoyed painting in the great outdoors.

☕ Tea Party & Scottish Line Dancing – We wrapped up our summer events with an outdoor tea party featuring live music, followed by an energetic evening of Scottish Line Dancing. No experience—or kilt—was required!

Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the summer and helped make these events such a success. We can’t wait to see what’s next! 🎉
