Participants will take part in lifeguard-style activities that introduce important aquatic skills including:
• Water safety awareness
• Confidence in deep water
• Teamwork and leadership
• Introductory rescue concepts
• Lifeguard fitness and endurance activities
Youth will work with aquatic staff in a safe, supportive, and active environment while learning more about the role lifeguards play in keeping swimmers safe.
This experience is a great way for youth to stay active during spring break, build swimming confidence, make new friends, and explore whether lifeguarding may be something they want to pursue in the future.
