Volunteer Opportunities
Community members who would like to assist with flood recovery efforts are invited to volunteer with Samaritan's Purse.
Beginning Wednesday (July 15), volunteers should report to the south parking lot of Swan Valley Regional Secondary School at 8:00 a.m. each day, where they will be assigned to a work team.
Volunteers will be provided with:
- Lunch
- Drinking water
Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear and long pants suitable for cleanup work. Gloves and other required equipment will be provided as needed.
You do not need to commit to a full day. Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or the entire day, your help is greatly appreciated. We simply ask that you work within your own physical abilities. Every helping hand makes a difference in supporting our neighbours through the recovery process.
